BRICK CLEANING

We have cleaned many square meters of brickwork over the years, as well as working with development companies and contractors to make buildings look great again. Our preferred method for cleaning is using DOFF steam cleaning but we also use TORC or IBIX systems

It is also vitally important that other areas of your property are protected when using any type of acid such as glass, window frames and any patio below. The chemical used in brick cleaning to clean bricks can stain or even etch these other items which can cause irreversible damage. That’s why it’s super important to choose a well-recommended, well established, and experienced company for brickwork cleaning so you receive the professional service obtaining the results you desire without incurring costly damage. A commonly used chemical during this process is muriatic acid but whilst it may be beneficial for thorough work on bricks its important not too include more than 10% within the mixture at all times

As part of our brick cleaning service, we always ensure that we are using the correct equipment needed for your brickwork. All chemicals are measured correctly and checked against the material of your bricks. Our aim is to ensure that by taking advantage of our services, customers in Hampstead will be able to enjoy their beautifully-bricked homes for many more years.

WE GIVE EXTRA CARE

One of the most common problems is an organic stain, also known as algae contamination. Another problem that you might come across is ivy removal. Ivy roots can be very difficult to remove and often land up in cracks or crevices deep within the brickwork so it’s important to use a professional ivy remover if you want your property back in pristine condition quickly! If bricks have been stained with cement splashes during building work then they need a more rigorous cleaning where scaffold rash needs even more care because there are other layers involved-the top layer will often appear worse than the bottom one due to build up from dust and staining over time! Carbon stains on your brickwork can arise after years of atmospheric pollution which has chemically reacted with carbon dioxide particles in our atmosphere - this leaves behind black marks when present on surfaces like brick walls, windowsills etc., for example near major roads or industrial areas
